Your coin was designed by Canadian artist Steve Hepburn and features a stylized baseball pitcher in a classic pose, right arm extended behind him, gloved left hand curled toward his torso, extended right behind him as his left leg braces to support a throw of exceptional speed. This figure is layered over an abstract circling form that symbolizes the event's speed, skill and international inclusiveness. The pitcher is flanked on the right side by the official logo of the World Baseball Classic tournament. Embossed text on the reverse image's polished silver background features the date "2013" and the face value of "20 DOLLARS."
