This series of 3 coins are a reproduction of coins that had been buried for hundreds of years under the ocean off the coast of Cape Breton. An entire annual budget of coins was lost when Le Chameau slammed into the coast of Cape Breton in 1725.
In 1965, the gold coins were found in near perfect condition.
Accompanied by a serialized certificate, your proof of ownership for this coin and evidence that your coin has been individually inspected by Royal Canadian Mint quality assurance specialists.
