1967 (1867-) Canadian 25-Cent Bobcat Confederation Centennial Silver Quarter Coin (Brilliant Uncirculated)

25 Cents - Elizabeth II with Tiara / Bobcat - Confederation Centennial (1967)

All denominations for Canadian coin releases in 1967 bore special reverses to commemorate the 1967 confederation of the Province of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick to the Dominion of Canada.

Silver Composition Varieties

During 1967, the rising price of silver forced a reduction in the silver content to use to make the 25-cent coins from 80% to 50%. The two varieties are not distinguishable by eye.
