2018 Tuvalu 50-Cent Puppies Golden Retriever 1/2 oz Fine Silver Proof Coin
The third of five releases in The Perth Mint's Puppies Series, this adorable coin series celebrates the world’s most popular dogs. Said to be golden on the inside and outside, the dog's mellow nature has for decades made them especially popular as children’s pets and companion dogs. While even tempered, they are also energetic and fun-loving, especially when they are puppies, as captured in this coin’s vibrantly coloured design.
Playful Design
The coin’s reverse captures golden retriever puppies’ loveable nature, portraying two gorgeous golden retriever puppies peering out from a basket. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse. The coin is struck from 1/2 oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.
Packaging
Each coin is encapsulated and housed in a Perth Mint classic presentation case. Includes an illustrated Puppies Series box and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
