The second of five releases in The Perth Mint's Puppies Series, this adorable coin series celebrates the world’s most popular dogs. With their boundless energy, eagerness to please and ability to quickly learn new tricks, border collie puppies love to play.
Playful Design
The coin’s reverse features a playful border collie pup and frisbee raised ready to play. The background depicts a typical rural scene of a farm gate, fence and field of flowers. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse. The coin is struck from 1/2 oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.
Packaging
Each coin is encapsulated and housed in a Perth Mint classic presentation case. Includes an illustrated Puppies Series box and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
