Commemorating For The Centennial Of Confederation (1867 - 1967)

To celebrate the the 100th Anniversary of the confederation of the provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick to form the Dominion of Canada in 1867, the Royal Canadian Mint bore special reverses for all denominations of circulation coinage, as well as, an uncirculated 6-coin set in pliofilm and envelope and the following two special presentation cased coin sets: 

1. 1967 (1867-) Canadian Confederation Centennial SPECIMEN Presentation 7-Coin Set including a 20-dollar gold coin, 1-dollar silver goose, 50-cent silver howling wolf, 25-cent silver bobcat, 10-cent silver mackerel, 5-cent rabbit or hare, 1-cent rock dove all in specimen finish, presented in a black leather presentation box.

2. 1967 (1867-) Canadian Confederation Centennial PROOF-LIKE Presentation 6-Coin & Medallion Set - Originally included the confederation silver medallion, 1-dollar silver goose, 50-cent silver howling wolf, 25-cent silver bobcat, 10-cent silver mackerel, 5-cent rabbit or hare, 1-cent rock dove all in proof-like finish, presented in a red leather presentation box.
