Design
Introduced in 1937, the reverse design by Emanuel Hahn is double dated (“1921 - 2021”) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the launch of Canada’s most famous ship and features the classic portrait of Bluenose under sail.
The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
