Beginning in the 1950’s slick colors on new cars was all the rage - for Fender® guitars as well! Daphne Blue began as a GM Cadillac color in 1958. It became a popular color for the Stratocaster® just two years later. This 1oz pure silver guitar shaped coin captures this classic color perfectly, a nod to the Stratocaster® originals! Daphne Blue is the final issue in the series following Surf Green and Fiesta Red. Limited mintage of 6,000 coins.

Design
The obverse of this shaped coin displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the body of the guitar over sound waves, which are reverberating in the background. Multiple inscriptions are included on both the body and neck of the guitar.
The reverse is a detailed, colorized depiction of the Surf Green Fender Stratocaster guitar. The purity and weight are featured on the pickguard.
